Company History

AGH Engineering & Surveying, LLC (AGH) was first established as AGH Consultants, PLLC in Brownsville Texas in August of 2002 by Alfredo G. (Fred) Hernandez, PE. Fred was later joined by his brother Marco A. Hernandez; P.E. and they began serving the Cameron County are with professional services primarily focused on land development and subdivisions.
On January 1, 2006 AGH Consultants reorganized as AGH Engineering & Surveying, LLC and began offering surveying services. Most of our clients and projects to date have been performed in the Rio Grande Valley, with a primary focus on the greater Brownsville or Cameron County area. This has enabled us to stay focused and current with local conditions as well as regulatory agency and local municipal government requirements.

The President

Alfredo G. Hernandez, P.E. - Mr. Hernandez was born in Brownsville Texas and graduated from a local public high school (Gladys Porter High School).   He is licensed as a professional engineer in the states of Texas and Colorado. Mr. Hernandez is a licensed professional engineer with over 24 years of engineering related experience. Mr. Hernandez has vast experience in civil engineering, municipal utility, and other infrastructure projects. His experience ranges from planning assignments such as preparing facility plans for Texas Water Development Board projects to design, bidding and construction phase services on projects ranging from water and wastewater lines to expansions to wastewater treatment plants such as the North (Robindale) Wastewater Treatment Plant and Southside Wastewater Treatment Plant in Brownsville. More recently Mr. Hernandez has performed design, bidding, and construction phase services for the BPUB Jacaranda Sanitary Sewer Project, the 16-Inch BPUB Waterline Loop and the Cadell Road Waterline Project for the City of Brownsville and funded through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.
